How to Improve the Performance of Diamond Saw Blades
1. Sintering in vacuum protection atmosphere was carried out by cold pressing-hot sintering process.
The knife head sintered after cold pressing is very sharp in sawing process, and the production efficiency is improved a lot. Vacuum protective atmosphere sintering can prevent powder oxidation and activate sintering, which not only improves the performance of knife head, but also prolongs the life of graphite mould, and reduces the production cost.
2. Ultrafine powder and pre-alloyed powder are used.
Ultrafine powder can reduce sintering temperature and improve matrix hardness. Pre-alloyed powder, through three-dimensional mixing, greatly shortens the contact time between powder and air, prevents premature loss and segregation of low melting point metals, and is conducive to improving the strength of sintered products and increasing the holding power of diamond.
3. Improving the particle size ratio of diamond.
In traditional proportions, the knife head should be sharper, using more coarse-grained diamond, and vice versa, using fine-grained diamond. But it can not achieve the best work efficiency. Because of the high hardness and modulus of elasticity of diamond, it is difficult to produce plastic deformation during high temperature sintering. It is advantageous to improve the wear ratio of cutting tools by choosing proper proportion and increasing the accumulation density of diamond particles before sintering.
4. High strength diamond with stable production performance, coarse particles and good thermal stability is adopted.
Diamond saw blades are basically fixed on the working matrix by diamond and matrix under certain technological conditions, mainly depending on diamond grinding agent and cutting action to process different stone materials. Therefore, the quality, particle size and concentration of diamond play a decisive role in diamond tools.
5. Increase diamond holding capacity by adding strong carbon powder elements.
In the process of diamond saw blade processing, if the matrix of the tool head has good control over the diamond, the diamond will have a good edge, will not fall off prematurely, cutting sharp, high efficiency. In addition, a small amount of molybdenum, chromium and tungsten powder can be added to the matrix powder.
6. Improve the production technology and equipment quality of diamond saw blade.
