  • What common problems will tile saw blades encounter? what is the reason?

    2020/7/29 18:38:29 Source:Stone tools
    Cutting tiles must use a tile saw blade,with neat cuts,Saw blade with no edge collapse and high cutting efficiency.So how to use tile cutting blades and what are the common problems of tile saw blades? what is the reason?

    Short service life of ceramic tile saw blade:

    1. Insufficient water supply

    2. Unstable voltage

    3. Slack conveyor belt

    4. Did not choose the ceramic saw blade in the correct range before buying

    The ceramic saw blade has high cutting noise:

    1. Insufficient water supply

    2. There is a problem with the speed setting

    3. The width of the saw blade head is too small, resulting in friction between the substrate and the cutting material

    4. The material to be cut is not fixed

    Teeth drop of the tile saw blade:

    1. Sudden external impact encountered during cutting

    2. The cut material is not fixed in place

    3. Material problem of the material being cut (usually hardness)

    4. Excessive temperature due to insufficient water supply

    Special saw blades for ceramic tiles cannot be cut:

    1. The cutter head is too hard

    2. Undercutting

    3. Insufficient power supply

    How to use the special saw blade for ceramic tiles correctly?

    1. Positioning: Hold the handle of the ceramic tile cutter with one hand, pull the sliding seat to the rear seat, and place this type flat on the bottom plate. The front part of the tile must be against the gap of the bottom plate;

    2. Scribe: Put down the handle to make the cutter wheel contact the surface of the tile, and gently push the handle forward to make the cutter wheel cut a continuous and even straight line on the surface of the tile;

    3. Pressing down: Lift the handle and pull it back slightly, and press the handle down with appropriate force, the tiles will be broken along the line;

    4. The scribing must be uniform, continuous and clear from beginning to end; the cutter wheel is made of special super hard alloy, so as long as you hold the handle with a small force, push the cutter wheel easily and smoothly to draw a cutting line. ; In the process of cutting ceramic tiles, the force is not on the scribing line. Excessive scribing will make the tangent line become sawtooth, which greatly shortens the normal service life of the cutter wheel;

    5. Cutting vitrified tiles and porcelain are different saw blades. If the saw blade is not vertical, it is easy to adze. For cutting porcelain, fine sand saw blades are used. Machine instability or vibration will cause adze. When pushing, the force must be light, and the cutting marks on the tiles should not be interrupted, otherwise the tiles will have corners.
