The main reason for the noise is the increase of the saw blade rotation speed, resulting in the increase of the saw blade teeth and stone impact. As the impact force increases, the saw blade vibrates and generates noise to the environment. How can we solve this problem?
(1) Application or adhesion of damping material
Saw blade in granite coating or adhering damping material on the surface consumes vibration energy and reduces noise energy.
(2) Properly increase the diamond saw blade chuck
The noise caused by the vibration of the saw blade can be effectively reduced by properly increasing the chuck of the diamond saw blade and properly increasing the diameter of the discs on both sides of the saw blade without affecting the sawing height.
(3) Add rubber pad
Adding rubber pad on the inner surface of the chuck can restrain the vibration of each part, weaken the transmission of vibration and reduce the noise radiation.
Although the above measures can achieve the purpose of reducing noise, in the actual production, it is often necessary to consider more safety and practical aspects.
Changing the material of the saw tooth of the cutter head has a direct influence on the noise of the saw blade. For example, if the common high carbon tool steel saw blade is replaced by the saw blade with carbide saw tooth, the measured noise will be significantly reduced.
